FAQs

What currency do you use for your prices?

All prices listed for our hand-made, sustainable wedding gowns are in Australian dollars (AUD).

Where are your dresses made?

We work with hand-selected fabric suppliers from around the world and put great emphasis on shared values regarding sustainability. All our wedding gowns are made-to-order in-house at our studio on the Sunshine Coast of Queensland, Australia.

What does “made-to-order” mean?

The industry built around wedding attire is known to continuously add more waste and pollution to the environment. Our made-to-order approach is only one of the different ways we are trying to change that. Instead of creating a stock of wedding gowns, we are making each individual gown once your order has been received. Not only does this approach make the experience more personal as we are creating a gown for a specific bride and her special day, we also avoid overproduction and wasted materials that harm nature and the Earth in the process.

What sizes do you carry?

Between Me and You Bridal gowns are made-to-order and available in AUS sizes 4-20. Please make sure to take your measurements and compare them closely with our size chart. Don’t hesitate to contact us if you are unsure or need assistance in determining the best size for you to order.

Do you ship worldwide?

Yes, we ship to almost all destinations in the world and use only Eco-friendly packaging to get your personal wedding gown to where it’s meant to be. Feel free to get in touch to verify your unique destination if you are unsure about possible shipping.

What materials are used for the production of Between Me and You Bridal gowns?

We take pride in shaping the Earth’s future for the better, one sustainable wedding gown at a time. Working with carefully selected fabric suppliers who share the same values regarding sustainability, Eco-friendliness and biodegradability, we create unique, made-to-order wedding gowns made with blends of hemp, silk, linen, cotton, organic cotton lace, Tencel, and recycled polyester gained from PET bottles. Can I view and try on a sample dress?

We are working hard to set up our studio, and will be offering sample fittings by appointment in the near future. We advise you to become familiar with our size chart before ordering your unique Between Me and You Bridal gown. If you have any questions or feel unsure about your correct size measurement, we are available for one-on-one client communication via email and live chat.

Will my dress fit correctly?

Your wedding gown will be made in our standard size according to our size chart. In order to place your order with Between Me and You Bridal you will need to choose a dress size closest to your actual measurements. If you don’t fall into a specific size range or need assistance in determining the best size for you to order, feel free to contact us via email or live chat. Unfortunately, we do not offer customised dresses at this point. In case of doubt, we therefore suggest going a size up as alterations can always be made by your local seamstress.

The product I received is not what I expected.

Please note that all our dresses are handmade. Though we do our best to provide accurate images of our gowns, minor variations of colour, lace motifs, and textures may vary slightly as a gown is made specifically for you once you place your order. Please review our size chart and descriptions carefully to make sure you order your right size and fit.

What happens if I want to return my wedding gown? How do you handle refunds?

If you would like to return your ordered product, you must notify us within 7 days of receiving the wedding gown, which must remain unworn and with its tags on in order for us to issue a return slip. Please note that we only accept returns and offer partial refunds if the dress is faulty or shows a production error (images must be provided before the return of the dress is approved). Unfortunately, we do not give a refund after a change of mind or ordering the wrong size. To make sure you receive your wedding dress in the right size, we strongly advise you to become familiar with our size chart. We will issue a refund of the cost of the wedding gown once the return has been processed and accepted.

How long does it take until my dress is ready?

All our wedding gowns are made-to-order, meaning they are specifically made for you once you place your order. The finished gown takes 12-24 weeks to complete. We do have longer processing times as we do not stock bulk rolls of textile fabrics in order to reduce waste. All our dresses are handmade, and we take pride in taking the time to ensure you receive a wedding gown of great quality and with excellent finishes.
